ReplyDeleteI wasn't ultra-excited about Texas when we decided to move here, but it's been great for us. I hope Oklahoma will be the same for you. And, you know, I hear that the "waving wheat sure smells sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain."

And Hey, At least you will only be there for 1 year, hopefully. then maybe you'll get to come back to Vegas?? :0)

ReplyDeleteIt wasn't really a bad place--a bit small townish compared to Vegas--but that's not a bad thing. Brush up on any piano playing skills you have, the first thing they asked when we walked in the Church door was if either of us could play-even with one finger- I could play some and thus "got to" play for everything, but it was ok. Remember. . . "and all these things shall give thee experience and will be for thy good. . ." That probably doesn't help but just remember it's not forever, and somehow it fits into "the plan."
